Service Year Alliance is committed to the notion that service years can be a powerful solution to community challenges. Regardless of geography, communities across the nation grapple with similar issues related to educational advancement, economic mobility, disaster preparedness and response, and workforce readiness.
With this in mind, we have developed powerful strategies and interventions that seek to position service years as a solution to these challenges. Additionally, we aim to create service year opportunities for young people of all backgrounds, regardless of the zipcode they grew up in. We work closely with partners on the ground to develop and deliver tailored strategies informed by trends and best practices and resulting in a transformative experience for the corps member, the community, and our country.
